Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Laydhome. Every piece in our collection is carefully handcrafted and packed by hand from our workshop in the Netherlands. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how and when your order reaches you.
Where we ship
We currently ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. All orders are dispatched from the Netherlands.
Because all of these countries are within the EU, there are no customs fees or import duties, and all prices shown already include VAT.
Processing time
Many of our items are handcrafted or made to order, so we ask for a little patience. Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days after your order is confirmed.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. During busy periods such as sales, holidays, or new launches, processing may take slightly longer — we'll always let you know if there's a delay.
Shipping methods & delivery times
We ship with PostNL within the Netherlands and with PostNL International / DHL for all other destinations, using fully tracked services. International parcels are handed over to the local postal carrier for final delivery. Estimated delivery times once your order has been dispatched:
- Netherlands: 1–2 business days
- Belgium: 1–3 business days
- Germany: 2–4 business days
- France: 3–5 business days
- Spain: 4–7 business days
- Italy: 4–7 business days
These are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Your total time to receive an order is the processing time plus the delivery time above.

Order tracking
As soon as your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a track & trace link so you can follow your parcel every step of the way. If you haven't received tracking within 3 business days of your order confirmation, please check your spam folder or get in touch.
Packaging
Because our products are handcrafted and often delicate, we take great care in packaging each order so it arrives in perfect condition. Wherever possible, we use protective and sustainable materials.
Damaged or lost parcels
We do everything we can to make sure your order arrives safely. If something goes wrong:
- Damaged in transit: Please contact us within 14 days of delivery, including your order number and clear photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.
- Lost parcels: If tracking shows your parcel hasn't moved or hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, get in touch and we'll open an investigation with the carrier and resolve it with you.
Incorrect or incomplete address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're unable to take responsibility for orders sent to an incorrectly entered address. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or a failed delivery, we'll contact you to arrange reshipment, and additional shipping costs may apply.
