Een heldere plas glas zakt in de nerf van een oude teakwortel en vangt het licht als stil water.

Deze glazen schaal op hout is mondgeblazen, direct over een natuurlijke teakwortel, zodat het licht aqua getinte glas het ruwe hout omsluit waar beide elkaar raken. Waterdicht en sculpturaal werkt hij als terrariumschaal, een laag pronkstuk of een rustige plek voor kiezels, bloemen of drijvende kaarsen. Omdat elke wortel door de natuur is gevormd, is geen stuk precies hetzelfde.
